How it works

  1. 01

    Spot the flash

Look for the stainless cart and the big screen of strips. We park on the corners where the city is happening.

  2. 02

    Tap to pay

Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay at the door. $10 a session (placeholder price).

  3. 03

    Step in

Pull the curtain. The velvet bench fits up to four, or fold it up and stand.

  4. 04

    Pick your look

Classic B&W, The Corner, sepia, '70s color or film grain. Four flashes, a few seconds apart.

  5. 05

    Strip + phone

Your 2×6 strip drops out the side slot. Scan the QR to get the digital copy.

The vintage look, instantly.

Real booth strips, minus the chemicals and the wait. We shoot on a professional digital camera under a studio flash and style every frame in software to feel like the classic booths: crushed blacks, soft grain, that slightly-too-bright flash.

New: THE CORNER. An editorial black-and-white street-candid layout: three tall frames with a typed caption, shot like a sidewalk style column. Our nod to the street photographers who made the corner a runway.

Every session: one printed strip + the digital strip and single frames sent to your phone.

STANDARD FLEET

Brushed stainless

Every everyday CORNERFLASH cart wears bare brushed stainless with the CORNERFLASH wordmark: it catches streetlight at night and the sunset in Miami. Battery-electric, five by ten feet, rolls into place by remote.

SPECIAL EDITION · ONE OF ONE

The Cunningham

One cart, painted Workman Blue (#2D4E8A), the color of a French work jacket, with a small bicycle on its flank. It runs THE CORNER strip style by default and parks on the avenues in daylight, where the street was always the show.

BRAND ACTIVATIONS

Put your brand in the frame.

A walk-in booth wrapped in your creative, parked where the city looks. Every guest walks away holding your brand, and every digital copy carries it to their phone and their feed.

The team's prior brand activation work (with Food Truck Rentals), not CORNERFLASH clients:

Including a full-wrap truck outside Louis Vuitton's SoHo flagship (2018), month-plus runs for Bloomingdale's, an LED-lit Michael Kors cart at Fashion Week with Katz's Deli, a full Southampton summer for Cipriani, and five trucks with World Central Kitchen during COVID-19.

Single-day activations from $X (placeholder: pricing to be set)

Custom-wrapped to your brand. Multi-day runs, additional carts and staffing quoted to the brief.

Let's put your brand on the corner.

Brand activations, launches, Fashion Week, weddings, club nights. We tow the cart in, roll it into place by remote and run it all night on battery: no generator, no fumes, no noise, no extension cords across your venue.

Form is a non-functional placeholder; it does not send anywhere yet.

INSPIRED BY BILL

For the man on the bicycle.

We're New Yorkers. We grew up watching the city dress itself on the sidewalk, and learning from Bill Cunningham that the best pictures are taken on the street, of everyone, with no velvet rope. He rode a bicycle, wore a blue work jacket and treated every corner as a runway.

The Cunningham is our one special-edition cart, named in his honor: Workman Blue, a small bicycle, and a strip style built for candid street portraits. It is a tribute, nothing more.

CORNERFLASH is an independent company. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Bill Cunningham, his estate, or The New York Times. No photographs by or of Bill Cunningham are used on this site or on our carts.
